Colorado Springs Bachelorette Trip – A Memorable April Weekend
Planning a bachelorette trip can be overwhelming, but when you mix good company, great food, and a variety of fun activities, you’re bound to have an unforgettable experience. Our trip to Colorado Springs in April of 2023 was nothing short of amazing. Here’s a breakdown of our rough itinerary and all the highlights from each day!
Thursday – Road Trip and Settling In
We all gathered at the bride’s house and left around 8:30-9 AM. The three-hour drive from Kansas flew by with road trip snacks, wedding talk, and plenty of laughs. By noon, we had arrived in Colorado Springs, ready to kick off the weekend.
First Stop: Raising Cane’s
Since the bride loves Raising Cane’s and we don’t have one in rural Kansas, this was a non-negotiable stop. Everyone grabbed their favorite meal, and it was the perfect way to fuel up for the day ahead.
Scheels – Shopping and Fun
After lunch, we made a quick stop at Scheels, a huge sporting goods store that offers way more than just shopping. From interactive displays to a Ferris wheel, it was a fun detour before heading to our next adventure.
Topgolf
We reserved a bay at Topgolf for some friendly competition. Whether you’re a pro or have never swung a club before, it’s always a blast. The drinks kept us energized while we played. I highly recommend doing top golf as your very first activity for any bachelorette. It lets everyone get to know each before all the real fun begins.

Me with my mango mocktail, since I was 4 months pregnant, as the bride shot.
Applejack Wine & Spirits/Grocery run
If you’ve never been to Applejack, you’re missing out. It’s one of the biggest, cleanest liquor stores around, and after spending over an hour here on a previous ski trip, I knew it was the only stop we needed for drinks. Alcohol is probably the most important thing for any good bachelorette, well and the snacks we hit the nearest Walmart for all the essentials.
Airbnb Setup
Check in for our Airbnb was at 3pm. I sent the bride to be and another bridesmaid outside to relax while the rest of us could decorate. I kept the decoration pretty simple for easy set up and tear down.

Bride Balloons Banner, I hand made the groom’s face banner with just a printer and laminator.

Cute gifts for the whole crew.

Last Trail before the Veil Banner, Pink Penis

I designed and ordered this banner from Staples.
Dinner
Once everything was set up, we went and had tacos from T Byrd’s Tacos, which were delicious.
Hot Tub and Margaritas
We ended the night with homemade margaritas in the hot tub, the perfect way to unwind before a packed Friday.
Friday – Food, Shopping, and Exploring
Brunch at Mother Muffs
We started the day with brunch at Mother Muffs. Their breakfast pizza was amazing, and the funky vibe made for a great experience.

Shopping Downtown
Mother Muffs is located near a ton of cute shops, so we spent some time browsing, picking up souvenirs, and finding unique gifts.
Garden of the Gods
The bride is very active and loves the outdoors, so a visit to Garden of the Gods was a must. Since it was still a bit chilly and even sprinkled on us, we kept the hike short but still enjoyed the breathtaking scenery.

Winery Visit
After our hike, we stopped at Winery at Manitou Springs to warm up and enjoy some wine. The selections were fantastic, and it was a great way to relax.

Local Brewery & Bars
We checked out Colorado Mountain Brewery before heading out for the night. We hit up a few bars, including Bloom Ultra Lounge for a classy vibe and Shrunken Head Tiki for a fun tropical twist.

Saturday – Pole Dancing, Pampering, and Relaxation
Einstein Bagels Breakfast
We had Einstein Bagels delivered to the house for an easy and delicious breakfast before heading to our next adventure. The bride and I love Einstein’s. There used to be one at the library where we went to college. My go to was always a blueberry bagel with honey almond spear, so good.
Beginner Pole Dancing Class
At 11 AM, we attended a pole dancing class at Fit Body & Pole. Our instructor, Michelle, was fantastic. It was such a fun and empowering experience, though we were definitely sore afterward!

Lunch at Red Robin
After an intense workout, we refueled with burgers and bottomless fries at Red Robin.
Shopping at Target, World Market, and Kohl’s
Shopping was near by, so we spent the afternoon browsing Target, World Market, and Kohl’s.
Pedicures at Paint Nail Bar
We treated ourselves to pedicures at Paint Nail Bar. The experience was relaxing and much needed after all the walking we had done. We loved paint nail bar and the polish lasts forever, I’m talking 3+ months which is crazy for a pedicure.
Italian Dinner
For dinner, we opted for a cozy Italian meal at Paninos, indulging in pasta and wine before our next spa experience.
SunWater Spa at 8 PM
We ended the night at SunWater Spa in Manitou Springs, soaking in mineral water pools under the stars. The original plan was to do this on Friday but since it was sprinkling and there was lightning they wouldn’t let us do it. So we rescheduled and it ended up being the perfect way to wind down for our final night.

Sunday – Heading Home
After an amazing weekend, we packed up and hit the road back home. The trip was filled with laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
Final Thoughts
Colorado Springs was the perfect destination for this bachelorette getaway. From outdoor adventures to relaxation and nightlife, we had a mix of everything. If you’re planning a trip, I highly recommend including some of these stops for a well-rounded and fun-filled experience!
